My husband and I recently visited our son who is a college student in Taiwan. While we were there we had the honor of being invited to the home of Joseph Lee and Olively Chang to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We were graciously treated to a home cooked traditional dinner. We immensely enjoyed our visit with the Lee family and learned a lot about the history of Taiwan from them.

Hi everyone my name is Matt. I am from New York, and I teach English and study Chinese here in Taiwan. Olively is a good friend of mine. She asked me if I would let her do my makeup. Now normally if someone would have asked me to do this I would have said no. I am more of the type of guy who works out and plays basketball and rugby, not one who normally would put on makeup. However, because she is such a good friend and a very excellent artist I agreed. I was reluctant at first, but I can actually say it was a good experience. She was very professional and made me very comfortable with a situation I am not normally in.
With that said, I do have a little experience working with makeup artists. I have done a few commercials and photo shoots before. So I can say that Olively is definitely the best. Olively, took time to talk to me, and make me feel comfortable while assessing my skin and how to make me look good. She quickly assessed my skin problems and knew how to correct them. She cleansed my face, and helped me to moisturize my skin, which she told me is very very dry. She then gave me some tips on how to keep my skin healthier and younger looking. She then evened out the tone of my skin, giving me an even but natural look. Next, as you can see I am fairly pale, she helped to give my skin some color. She even trimmed my eye brows. She did a great job of evening them out and making my eyes appear cleaner. She made me photo ready very quickly, and make me look better than artists that used more than double the time she took. As uncomfortable as it is for a guy like me to have make up put on, she was not only fast and efficient and did a more than superior job but also made me feel comfortable and relaxed.
There is no doubt that she is the most capable makeup artist that I have ever met, and if you have spent any time looking at her work and experience you will immediately know that if you want the best, you ask for Olively.
